Every year I take pictures with Santa and turn it into an ornament for our tree. It is fun to see them grow up in pictures from year to year sitting with Santa. Some years they cried, some they smiled. I love the memories.

Happy Birthday Grant! 12/02/2009

Grant is One! For Grant's first birthday he gave himself shiny black eye! Poor kid. He loved eating cake and getting messy. He loved getting presents. He got a Little People carnival. Blake and Trevor liked playing with it too.

Happy Birthday Grant! It seems only yesterday I brought you home from the hospital. The hospital gave me a great big stocking for you. I put you in it and took pictures of you in it. You looked so tiny in that stocking. I sent the pictures to family and friends for your birth announcement. Now you hardly fit in it. It is amazing how much you have grown. We are happy to have you a part of our family.

Grant's last day of none 12/01/2009

Blake put Grant in a laundry basket and pushed him around the playroom. He loved it! Tomorrow my baby turns one. This is his last day of none....I can hardly believe he is growing up so fast. My baby is growing up and becoming more mobile. Soon he will be a "toddler"! I am not really ready for that. I would not mind if he stayed a baby for a little longer...Then again I still tell Blake he is my baby too and will be forever! They just grow up too fast. I guess that is why I really try to enjoy every moment I can.

Putting up the Christmas tree

The boys helped put up the Christmas tree and hung their stockings by the fire. I love this time of year! We have a tradition in our family that the littlest one puts the star on top of the tree. Grant got to put it up this year because last year he was too little. Trevor did not want to pass up the tree topping duty, so he got a turn too.

We went to Toad Suck Park to enjoy the last of the really nice weather for the year. The boys had fun playing with Dad. Trevor even climbed a tree!

Grandma visits
